Speech therapy via telehealth is simply speech therapy that takes place remotely, through a video call. It means you can work with a therapist from the comfort of your own home—no need to travel to an office or clinic!
-
It’s easy! All you need is a device with a camera and microphone—like a computer, tablet, or smartphone—and a stable internet connection. Once you’ve scheduled your session, we’ll send you a link to join the video call. Just click the link when it’s time for your appointment, and we’ll meet virtually!

-
Yes! More and more research shows that telehealth speech therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy, and many families find it even more convenient and flexible. It allows us to meet you where you are—whether that’s at home or on the go!

Telehealth is a wonderful option for young children! For toddlers, our sessions are parent-guided, where we show you simple and fun ways to support your child’s language development at home. In fact, this approach is one of the best, evidence-based ways to nurture early communication skills!
As your child grows, we use playful activities that keep them engaged while helping you build their skills in everyday moments. We’ll make sure you feel supported and confident every step of the way! -
No worries! If you run into any technical issues during a session, just let us know, and we’ll work together to resolve them so we can get back on track.

We offer several payment and funding options, depending on your circumstances and eligibility:
NDIS – self-managed: If your NDIS plan is self-managed and includes funding that can be used for speech pathology, you can choose to work with us. You pay the invoice and then claim the expense through the NDIS.
NDIS – plan-managed: If your NDIS plan is plan-managed, we can invoice your plan manager directly. Your plan manager then processes the payment using your NDIS funding.
Private health insurance: Depending on your level of cover and insurer, you may be able to claim a rebate for speech pathology. We recommend checking directly with your health insurer before commencing therapy, as rebates and eligibility vary between policies.
Private clients: You can access speech pathology privately and pay for sessions directly. This can be a flexible option if you don't have other funding available or prefer to self-fund your support.
Medicare (M10): Eligible children and young people under 25 may be able to access Medicare rebates for speech pathology through the M10 referral pathway. Since 1 March 2026, eligibility has expanded to include conditions such as stuttering and speech sound disorders. A referral from a GP, consultant physician or specialist is required, and Medicare rebates apply to a limited number of assessment and treatment services. Please consult with your GP to determine your eligibility.
Not sure which option applies to you? Get in touch and we can talk you through the funding options available for your circumstances.
