Can I use NDIS funding for Speech Therapy?

Yes! If you or your child has an NDIS plan with funding that can be used for Speech Pathology, you may be able to use it for online speech pathology sessions with Connected Speech Therapy.
We currently welcome self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants Australia-wide.

Self-Managed NDIS

If your plan is self-managed, you can access our Speech Pathology services.
You pay for your session directly and we'll provide an invoice/receipt for you to claim through your NDIS funding.

Plan-Managed NDIS

If your plan is plan-managed, you can also access our services.
We can send invoices directly to your Plan Manager, making the payment process simple.

What can Speech Pathology support?

At Connected Speech Therapy, we support children, teens and adults.
Depending on your individual goals, we can support areas including:

• Speech and speech sounds

• Language and communication

• Social communication

• Literacy

• Stuttering

• Communication confidence and self-advocacy

Sessions are delivered online via telehealth, so you can access support from home, wherever you live in Australia.

Don't have an NDIS plan yet?

The NDIS provides funding and support for eligible people with disability.

For children younger than 9, the Early Childhood Approach can also help families access supports for developmental concerns. Younger children may be able to access early supports without needing a formal diagnosis.

Getting started is simple.

1. Check your funding
Confirm that your plan is self-managed or plan-managed and that you have appropriate funding available for Speech Pathology.

2. Get in touch
Fill out the referral form and tell us a little about yourself or your child and what you're hoping to get support with.

3. We'll organise the rest
We'll discuss whether we're a good fit, arrange your first appointment and collect the relevant NDIS and billing information.
